Known artistically by his own name ALFREDO TEJADA. From Malaga by birth, from Granada by adoption. Alfredo Tejada is an all-rounder in this profession. Peñas, Festivals, Theaters, Flamenco Tablaos, biennials… There are few places where he has not left his mark on his art. He has accompanied many of the greats of dance such as La Lupi, Mario Maya, Marco Flores, Blanca del Rey, Antonio Canales, El Farru, Eva La Yerbabuena, Olga Pericet, among others.
In 2007, the Antonio Gades Foundation, under the direction of Stela Arauzo, counted on him for its cast of artists and he became part of the company, with the shows Carmen, Fuenteovejuna, Suite Flamenca and Bodas de Sangre, with which He has toured many countries worldwide, working in the best theaters in the world such as the Grand National Theater in Beijing, the City Center Theater in New York or Cargenie Hall, the Borsoi Theater in Moscow, the Olympic Theater in Rome, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. , Maestranza Theater of Seville, Roman Theater of Verona, Herodes Aticu Roman Theater. He has participated in several flamenco singing competitions, obtaining in Granada the First Prize for Young Flamencos in 2002, Prize for the best farruca in 2004 (Ubrique), Second Prize in the Jumilla National Competition (Murcia -2007), First National Prize for Young Values in Rincón de la Victoria (2009). And so on until 2017 and winning the Mining Lamp and the awards from Soleá, Farruca, Minera and Cartagenera, at the International Cante de las Minas Festival.
Currently he also collaborates for the contemporary Opera of the composer Osvaldo Goligov AINADAMAR, where he continues to tour countries with different world productions.
In 2015 he released his first album titled “En Directo” where it was a finalist for best revelation song album by national critics at the Flamenco Hoy awards. After traveling half the world contributing her flamenco roots, she delves into the preparation of his second album, after winning the prestigious Mining Lamp. This second work, Sentidos del Alma, is made up of 12 songs where the artist has had the special collaboration of Miguel Poveda, Antonio Rey, Makarines and Jose Luis Montón. This second album was a finalist in the Min awards, being a finalist along with Cañizares and María Terremoto.
In 2021 he releases his third album IDENTIDAD with the collaboration of Rafael Riqueni where he surprises us again with classic flamenco but updated to the 21st century.
